Non-Member Registration

If you are not a member of the Suhaila Salimpour School of Dance (SSSD), please register by clicking on the Buy Now button labeled "non-members". Dancers of all levels are welcome to attend this workshop. If, during the course of the weekend, a dancer wishes to attempt certification he/she will need to join the SSSD. This can be done in person at the workshop.

Member Registration

If you are a member of the Suhaila Salimpour School of Dance (SSSD), please register by clicking on the Buy Now button labeled "SSSD members". Dancers of all levels are welcome to attend this workshop. If you are working towards certification in this workshop, please note that elligibility is determined by Suhaila and will cost $100, due just before the test begins.

Please provide your SSSD member number & expiration date in the comments section of the payment page. We also require that you provide DCTribal proof of your SSSD membership, using one of the following options:

• Email a scanned copy of your SSSD membership card to DCTribal at dctribal@gmail.com
• Present your SSSD membership card along with your picture ID during workshop registration. If your membership card is invalid or expired, we will require you to pay the non-member price to attend the workshop.

• If you wish to wear a hip scarf, please note that Suhaila prohibits beads and/or coins.
• Bring finger cymbals.
• If you intend to certify, please obtain and read the Level 1 manual.
• If you have a foam roller, please feel free to bring it with you to roll out your IT bands and other tight areas for easier training.
• DCTribal and the Suhaila Salimpour School of Dance requires that each dancer in this workshop fill out and sign a participation waiver. Please download one to fill out and bring with you to the workshop. Your computer will need Adobe Reader installed to view the file.
• Suhaila usually spends the lunch hour showing videos and answering questions. Many attendees prefer to pack a lunch to enjoy this time; however, if you prefer to take a break, there are many restaurants within walking distance of the workshop.

Airport Information
Reagan National Airport (airport code = DCA) is minutes away from the workshop location via taxi or the metro system. Dulles International Airport (airport code = IAD) is about a forty minute drive from the workshop location, and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (airport code = BWI) is over an hour away. Neither Dulles nor Baltimore airport is metro accessible, making car rental or taxi service to the hotel a necessity.
